Banana Cashew Latte Shakeology
Time can be tight in the morning, whether you’re a rise-and-shiner or you feel like a zombie until after noon (although, mornings are arguably tougher for the zombie set). Whether or not to squeeze in breakfast can be a last-minute decision that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves.
But, what if you could combine all of the elements of a healthy breakfast into a smoothie that you could take with you as you rush out the door? This is that smoothie. Creamy, coffee-flavored Shakeology takes the place of having to brew a cup of joe. Replace cooking a bowl of oatmeal — and having to sit down to eat it in slow spoonfuls — with blended banana, oats, cashews, and almond milk.
Beachbody Containers:1 Purple, 1 Red, ½ Yellow, ½ Blue, 1 tsp.
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup warm or cold coffee
- 1 cup ice
- 1 scoop Vanilla, Cafe Latte or Chocolate Shakeology
- ½ large banana cut into chunks
- 2 Tbsp. dry old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 Tbsp. raw cashews
- ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
Place almond milk, ice, coffee, Shakeology, banana, oats, cashews, and nutmeg in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
