Chicken Sausage and Butternut Gnocchi

There are a lot of shortcuts to make this easy but full of flavor meal.  Pre-cooked chicken sausage, pre-cubed butternut squash, Frozen Gnocchi (at Trader Joes or elsewhere) and refrigerated pesto.  In less than 30 minutes you will have a meal that fills you up with out making you feel heavy.

Directions:

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high.
  2. Add chicken sausage, squash, garlic and onion; cook until browned.
  3. Add gnocchi to pan; cook 2 minutes. Add chicken broth, pesto, sage, and spinach to pan; cook 1 minute. Top with cheese.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy
