Turkey Lasagna

Clean Eating Turkey Lasagna

Layered with lean ground turkey, mozzarella, creamy ricotta and a touch of parmesan. Perfect for serving crowds, family-style dinners, or freezing for later!

Yields: 6 servings


  • 1 package whole wheat lasagna noodles, prepared
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 jar clean, low sugar pasta sauce
  • 1 15-oz. container low fat ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 C. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 C. mozzarella cheese


  1. In a skillet, brown turkey with onion. Drain.
  2. Return ground turkey and onion mixture to skillet. Add pasta sauce. Stir well and simmer on low for about 20-30 minutes
  1. Meanwhile, in a bowl combine ricotta, Parmesan and egg.
  2. Layer meat sauce, noodles, and ricotta/egg mixture in a 10×13 casserole pan. Top with mozzarella. Cover with aluminum foil.
  3. Bake 45 minutes.
  4. Remove aluminum foil and continue cooking 10-15 minutes until cheese browns.
  5. Remove from oven and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
